Programming and Characterization

The programs I am most familiar with are Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Google Sketch-up, A360 Rendering, Python, MATLAB and all of Microsoft office. I have taken two programming specific courses at University of Waterloo. One in Python and one in MATLAB. Throughout high school i used Autodesk programs in drafting and architecture. I created different homes in Revit architecture and sketch up and made models of objects in Autodesk Inventor.

I have experience in most of the basic characterization softwares including FTIR, TGA, DSC, UV-VIS, AFM, Raman, XRD and SEM. I also have experience in BET-Porosity and surface area analysis.

Special courses

As Nanotechnology is an accelerated engineering program that covers various disciplines, there are some courses specific to my degree that other engineers do not have. Specifically the mix of quantum physics with chemical engineering and polymer science.

While some engineering disciplines do take some of these courses. only Nanotechnology has this amount of complex and varied topics.
